With her ability of multitasking and problem solving skills across various disciplines, she rose through the ranks and headed the Business Development for two Hyderabad based chemistry CRO’s and contributed significantly to their growth and development.

Scientific Team

Narinder Mohal – Founder and Director

Narinder Mohal, PhD is the Founder and Director of the company. He is an accomplished scientific professional with comprehensive experience spread over a decade in managing end-to-end scientific operations. He has a strong background in medicinal/synthetic chemistry, drug development and quality assurance. He has demonstrated exceptional leadership abilities in building focused teams of scientists and chemists to meet all collaborator requirements.

Prior to this, Narinder headed the chemistry operations for more than four years at Hyderabad based two CRO’s where he was instrumental in establishing the chemistry services base thereby providing them sustainable growth. Earlier, he was associated with GVK Biosciences (a leading Contract Research Organization in the field of Drug Discovery and Development) for about 5 years, where he was responsible for a team that was involved in various collaborations catering to medicinal chemistry requirements from lead optimization (SAR activity and focused libraries) to the synthesis of reference compounds and building blocks. He was instrumental in building and developing a team of chemists, who were successfully engaged in the synthesis of diverse class of compounds viz. lipids, steroids, carbohydrates small peptides, and alkaloids, solid phase synthesis, isotopically (cold) labeled compounds, synthesis of fluorescent probes for cellular assays, bio-conjugation.

He obtained his doctoral degree in the area of synthetic organic chemistry working towards the synthesis of poly-hydroxylated alkaloids from Norbornanes at University of Hyderabad, Hyderabad and Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore with Professor Goverdhan Mehta, while his postdoctoral training was in the area of design and synthesis of b-glycosidase inhibitors and understanding mechanistic aspects of b-glycosidases, at Swiss Federal Institute of technology at Zurich with Professor Andrea Vasella.

Lakshminath Sripada – Principal Scientist

Lakshminath Sripada, PhD started his career with GVK Biosciences and later has been associated with two other Hyderabad based Contract Research Organizations. He has successfully led teams of competent chemists and handled independently various industrial collaborations. For the last several years, he has dealt with broad range of complex chemistry projects involving synthesis of various heterocyclic compounds; scaffolds; building blocks, lipids, peptides, alkaloids and steroids as well as synthesis of small-medium size focused libraries. In addition to this he has been involved in projects dealing with Analytical research which includes the analysis of reference/drug standards, method development, physicochemical studies and, identification and characterization of API impurities.

He obtained PhD from Indian Institute of Science, Bangalore under the supervision of Prof. Goverdhan Mehta and worked on the synthesis of carbasugars and natural products. Later he moved for post doctoral work to North Carolina State University, where he worked on microwave assisted synthesis of aromatics and heterocycles in solution and solid phase.  During his doctoral and post doctoral work he has authored several research publications in peer reviewed International journals.

Khalil I. Shaikh - Principal Scientist

Khalil I. Shaikh, PhD is a part of our core scientific team and he is a result-oriented Synthetic Organic/Medicinal and Process Chemist with more than six years of experience in Industrial
R & D. He has proven skills in managing a team of competent chemists to work in synchronization with the organization set parameters and motivating them for achieving organizational & individual goals. He has handled various projects for big pharmaceutical and biotech companies which involved different chemistries such as the synthesis of various heterocyclic compounds; scaffolds; building blocks & reference standards; non-natural amino acids; biotin & fluorescently tagged probes and nucleosides & nucleotides required for conventional medicinal chemistry projects. He also dealt with projects involving process development as well as the synthesis of small and medium size libraries using parallel synthesis approach.
